We worked with Gramafilm, a London-based creative production company, to create the tickets, OOH campaign, and brochure cover for the 72nd British Academy Film Awards. The creative concept for the awards was ‘Aspire to Achieve’ and the goal of the ceremony was to inspire the next generation of filmmakers.
We used paper engineering and gold foiling to embed this theme into a tactile pre-event experience. Removing the tickets from their presentation sleeve would gradually reveal an inspirational quote from Alan Turing in several ascending ‘steps’. A little girl was depicted at the foot of this ‘staircase of creativity’, waiting to be inspired and ready to make the climb.
Knowing that this uplifting brand experience would be shared by celebrities and royalty alike was exhilarating – especially as the little girl in question was our daughter!
